8-week summer session
Tuesday evenings (1 hour classes)
Online, small-group format
Limited to 6 students per class
$350 for the full session (all materials included)
Class Options
Composition Class
A fun and creative class where students learn how to write their own music.
No previous composition experience needed.
Open to any level, as long as students can read some notes on the staff.
Students will:
Learn how to create a musical idea (motif)
Expand their ideas using simple composition techniques
Complete at least one original piece of music
This class is perfect for students who enjoy being creative or want to explore a new side of music.
Music Theory
Designed for late beginner through intermediate students who want to better understand the music they play.
Students will:
Learn more in-depth music theory concepts
Understand how theory applies directly to their pieces
Explore chords and why they are so important
This class helps students make connections so music starts to feel clearer and easier to learn.
