Composition Class

Perfect for students who love being creative and want to learn how to write their own music!

  • Learn how to create a motif (and what that means!)

  • Explore simple, effective composition techniques

  • Write and develop their own musical ideas

Class Details:

  • Fully online through Zoom

  • Small groups (limited to 6 students)

  • 8 one-hour sessions (end of June through July and August)

  • All materials included

  • $300 for the full summer session

Important Information:

  • Students must be able to read some music on the staff (beginner is fine)

  • Recommended ages 7-12
